In 2024, the world celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Rubik’s Cube. The portrait of Ernő Rubik, the 80-year-old inventor of the magic cube, was created in Hungary in connection with the 50 Years of Twists and Turns event, which was organized in Vienna by Collegium Hungaricum Wien and the Museum of Applied Arts (MAK).
